A Transcarpathian is charged with separatism

In agreement with the Transcarpathian region prosecutor’s office, the regional office of the Security Service of Ukraine initiated the criminal proceedings over public incitement to intentional acts committed with the aim to change the boundaries of the territory or the state border of Ukraine in violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine.

And also the distribution of the materials calling for such acts committed by a conspiracy and combined with inciting ethnic hatred, that is a crime under Part 2 of Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian region.

 It concerns the video titled "Appeal of the Rusyn people’s army to Rusyns and Rusyn activists" posted on the social networking site Facebook by the citizen, who last year was sentenced to three years imprisonment for public appeals to violent change and overthrow of the constitutional order and the seizure of power and distribution of materials calling for such actions.

Then, he admitted his guilt in court and promised not to commit such actions again. However, recently the man, on behalf of the command of the so-called "Rusyn people’s army", called to enter into its ranks for the liberation of Transcarpathian region.
