This story can not but move. It happened in Croatia, but it could also happen in Ukraine and in particular in Transcarpathia which storks have long chosen for their nests.
It tells how every year in late August, a male stork named by people Klepetan leaves his mate Malena in Croatia and migrates to Southern Africa, http://visnyk.lutsk.ua informs.
She can not fly with him: 22 years ago, her wing was injuried by a hunter.
And for 15 years, faithful Klepetan flies 13,000 kilometers and always returns to his Malena, who patiently waits for him throughout winter in a lonely nest.
While Klepetan is away, a former school janitor Stipe Vokic takes care of Malena. The birds made their love nest on the roof of his house in a small village of Varos. And he assures that it is always the same bird that returns to the female every year, as it happened this March.
Every year, the stork couple raise their chicks. This spring, they have already had babies too.
