A thief of elite alcohol was caught in Transcarpathia

A resident of Beregovo several times took whiskey out of the store without paying for expensive goods. Having planned a theft once again, the man failed to leave the store unnoticed. The security of the store called the police to the scene, the Communications department of the Transcarpathian regional police reported 
On August 11 the police received a statement about the theft of alcoholic beverages from a store in Beregovo. At the scene, the police found out that the security guard had stopped the illegal actions of a customer, who tried to steal goods from the store. As it turned out, the man hid a bottle of expensive whiskey in his pocket. This was noticed by a security guard, who stopped the theft and later reported the crime. 
Upon arrival, the police found out that a 37-year-old resident of Beregovo was involved in the theft. As it turned out, this was not the first time, the man stole alcohol from this store. It is evidenced, in particular, by video surveillance of the store. 
The police opened a criminal case over the theft under Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. 
The case is under pre-trial investigation, during which the police will establish all the circumstances of the incident.
