A resident of Mukachevo found a grenade in a garden (PHOTOS)

Mukachevo city police department received a report about the discovery of an object similar to a grenade. A 56-year-old man from the village of Domboky in Mukachevo district reported that while cleaning the infield, he had come across this strange thing.

Without touching the suspicious object, which was lying in the grass, the man immediately called the police. Arriving at the scene, police officers and sappers established that it was an F-1 grenade, partially covered with corrosion.

This incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations on the grounds of Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Unlawful handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives." Sappers removed the grenade and sent it to the Research Forensic Center of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs Office for examination. The investigation continues.
