A resident of Mizhhirya stole UAH 10,000 from a coffee shop

Within hours, police officers established the circumstances of the crime, the identity of the thief and his whereabouts.

It turned out that a 26-year-old local resident, who had been previously convicted, was involved in the theft. The man took advantage of the coffee shop employee’s absence and stole money from her purse, after which he fled.

Investigators confiscated the stolen money from him and will return it to the victim after conducting the necessary investigative actions.

Investigators opened a criminal case over the theft under Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The case is under investigation.

Currently, the police are checking the man for involvement in similar crimes in the district.
