A racketeer was detained in Uzhgorod: he demanded 47 thousand dollars for non-existent debts (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Yesterday, a special operation of security officers was carried out in the Bozdosh neighbourhood in Uzhgorod.  
As it turned out, the man was detained for extorting 47 thousand dollars of non-existent debt.  
Under the procedural control of the Trancarpathia Regional Prosecutor’s Office, operatives from the Regional Department of Strategic Investigations, together with the Transcarpathian National Police Detective Department and the KORD Special Forces, detained a man extorting money from a local resident. Law enforcement officers documented that the suspect had demanded from a Transcarpathian money in the amount of 47 thousand dollars of non-existent debt. The events took place yesterday near one of the shopping centers in Uzhgorod. At the scene of the crime, the man was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the CCP of Ukraine.
