A performer from Slovakia will continue the organ festival in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic (ANNOUNCEMENT)

On September 20, the organist of the St. Bartholomew Church in Kosice František Bir (Slovakia) will perform at the X International Youth Festival of Organ Music in Uzhgorod, the editor of the Philharmonic Taisiya H​rys reported. The guest of the festival studied church music at the Košice conservatory and the Bratislava Church Conservatory. He continued his studies at the Musical University in Lübeck (Germany), where he graduated from Franz Dunkassagmüller’s class. He was an organist at the Dominican Church in Kosice, an assistant organist in the church of St. Jacob in Lübeck. Frantisek Bir is known in Slovakia for his creative and educational activities in the field of church music.  The consert will be hosted by Katerina Kerechanyn. The beginning is at 18:30. The X International Youth Festival of Organ Music named after Natalia Vysich will be held in Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic until September 30.
