A new forest will appear in Mizhhirya district

Foresters of the SE "Verkhnyohirske forestry" will plant 90 hectares of a new forest.

  With the advent of spring, foresters will take care of planting the greenery in Mizhhirya district. In the middle of March, the All-Ukrainian campaign "The future of the forest is in your hands" will start. During the campaign, foresters will plant 90 hectares of a new young forest. This was stated by the director of the state forestry enterprise Maria Plyska-Halatyba.

Among the plantations, that will appear in the forests of the Verknyohirske State Forestry Enterprise this spring, there will be fir, beech, maple tree, various kinds of shrubs. Thanks to the warmer winter, soil preparation and planting will start earlier this year.
