A man, who threatened his mother with an ax, was detained in Mukachevo (PHOTOS)

The incident happened yesterday, at about 5 pm, in Mukachevo. The woman called the police because her son was physically abusing her.  
The police quickly arrived at the scene and approached the entrance to the apartment. The applicant opened the door to them. At that moment, her son was standing next to her. 
The man was shouting and swearing at the woman, and then began to threaten her. After that he went to another room and returned with an ax in his hand. In front of law enforcement officers, he tried to hit his mother. 
Inspectors Vasyl Kotubey and Vasyl Sukhan immediately detained the man and handcuffed him. 
An investigative team was called at the scene. 
"Domestic violence is a crime. There is administrative and criminal liability provided for this. If you are a victim or eyewitness to domestic violence, don’t hesitate to call 102.”
