A living monument appeared in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

Yesterday Uzhgorod citizens had the opportunity to see a unique thing – a living monument.

The Crimean artist Igor Aronchik visited Uzhgorod.

Being a professional choreographer, he has been miming the Netherlands famous painter Rembrandt in the streets for 16 years.

In 1996 Aronchik visited the Netherlands, where he first saw a "living sculpture" – it turned out to be a mime artist from Finland. He became interested in this form of art and eventually began to imitate him. Crimea citizen decided to "become" the Netherlands artist. Igor has been "Rembrandt" in many countries around the world.

Now he has reached the other side of his own country and became a living statue in the center of Uzhgorod.

He was so similar to the monument, that most people did not believe that this was a real person, so everybody tried to touch him. But a woman (probably Aronchik’s assistant) did not allow to do this. However, uzhgorod citizens took pictures next to him, as well as supported the artist with money.
