A “Land rover freelander” with forged documents was seized on the Transcarpathian border

At the customs post "Luzhanka" of the Transcarpathian customs office, customs officials seized a "LAND ROVER FREELANDER". The vehicle with Polish registration was imported to the customs control zone through the "green corridor" lane by a citizen of Ukraine. The Ukrainian submitted for customs clearance of the vehicle a letter of authorization notarized in the city of Niemodlin in Poland and the certificate of registration of the vehicle, where a citizen of Poland is listed as the owner of the car.

As a result of analytical and search activities, the department of combating customs offenses of the Transcarpathian customs office sent the request to the Polish notary, and received a response, which stated that the document was forged.

The cost of the car "LAND ROVER FREELANDER", according to the citizen of Ukraine, is more than 49,000 UAH.

Thus, the citizen of Ukraine moved the car across the customs border of Ukraine with forged documents.

These actions of the Ukrainian contain signs of violation of customs rules under Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. Based on Article 511 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, the vehicle was seized until the court decision.
