A gift of life – on the Day of St. Nicholas, Transcarpathian rescuers donated blood

Gifts for St. Nicholas Day can be different: some people can do with candy, and others need more important things – life and health.

Today, almost 80 Transcarpathian rescuers come to the Transcarpathian blood transfusion center to help those in need.

Some of this blood will be used for the treatment of Dmytro Vorobok, a 19-year-old boy from the village of Dubrivka in Uzhgorod district. This boy was diagnosed with a terrible disease – acute leukemia. 

We wish Dmytro not to lose hope on these holidays and to get well soon. Miracles must happen!
