A foursome from China, a pseudo-French and a Guinean failed to get to the EU

Recently, Chop border guards detained another "travelers" who were illegally heading to the EU.

Border guards of the "Guta" unit, who were patrolling the area at dawn, detected several unknown persons who were moving towards the border.

The offenders were detained less than half a kilometer away from the Ukrainian-Slovakian border. There were four of them – one woman and three men. As is usual in such cases, the detainees were not carrying any documents and told the border guards that they were citizens of China. As to the travel destination, the detainees briefly answered – the European Union.

In turn, border guards of the "Chop" unit showed their professionalism during the border control of the train "Moscow-Budapest". The fact is that when checking the passport of a citizen of France, the border guards had suspicions of possible forgery. As a result of the examination of the passport, the inspectors’ suspicions were confirmed because it was found that the photo in the document was not genuine. Currently, the indentity of the holder is being established.

Another guest of Chop border guards was a citizen of Guinea. After passing the border control at the exit from Ukraine to Hungary, the man continued his journey to the destination. However, between Ukrainian and Hungarian border crossing points, for unknown reasons, he destroyed his passport. Thus, Hungarian border guards were forced to transfer the offender to their Ukrainian colleagues, as required by the Agreement between the European Community and Ukraine on readmission.

Administrative procedural documents were drawn against all of the above offenders. The decision on the further fate of the detainees will be determine by court.
