A former policeman, who was illegally keeping nearly 33,000 rounds of ammunition, will be judged in Transcarpathia

Investigators of the Security Service of Ukaraine Office in Transcarpathian region together with the prosecutor’s office completed the pre-trial investigation of the criminal proceeding against a former police officer for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition.

The offender, being in charge of professional and fire training of police officers in 2011-2012, appropriated nearly 33,000 rounds of ammunition and a rifle "IZH".

The former law enforcement officer was notified of being suspected under Part. 1, Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine was opened.

The case was sent to the prosecutor’s office for approval of the indictment and referral of the case to court.
