A documentary film on the preservation of architectural monuments will be screened in Uzhgorod (ANNOUNCEMENT)

On Tuesday, March 27, in the cultural and historical center "Owl’s Nest" (Ferenc Rakoczi st., 2), there will be the screening of the documentary film "Save can not be ruined" and the discussion on the problem of preservation of architectural monuments in Ukraine.

"Save can not be ruined" is a film that raises the issue of architectural monuments extinction across Ukraine. The film was shot as part of the project "Ctrl + S Law Protecting Cultural Heritage".
Director Pavel Siromenko and screenwriter Tetyana Omelchenko visited 9 historic cities, which in recent years have lost hundreds of architectural monuments: in Kyiv, Dnipro, Poltava, Odesa, Lviv, Uzhgorod, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kharkiv. They interviewed 50 experts – from city residents and activists to mayors and ministers, for example, comments were provided by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy and the Minister of Culture of Ukraine Yevhen Nyschuk. They also talked with foreign experts from Germany, Poland, Russia.
