This decision was adopted today at the meeting of the city executive committee. The members of the executive committee approved the Procedure for selecting a banking institution for providing local loans to the budget of Uzhgorod, and also formed a commission that will select a bank to meet these needs.
As stated in the document, this decision is taken to finance expenditures aimed at updating strategic facilities of long-term use or facilities that ensure the fulfillment of the city council’s tasks aimed at satisfying the interests of Uzhgorod residents.
According to Lesya Hakh, the Director of the Department of Finance and Budget Policy, the decision does not mean that the city council will necessarily take loans from banks. It just means that now the city council will have this opportunity.
The announcement of the contest and its conditions will be published in the print media and / or on the official website of the Uzhgorod City Council no later than 10 calendar days before the start of the contest.
