Markovych Mykhailo Ivanovych went missing in Zhytomyr region. This was reported on July 9 in the social network by user Nicoletta Roshko, the m-studio.net.ua informs.

"Markovych Mykhailo Ivanovych, born November 16, 1996, went missing on 01.07.2019. He went missing in the city of Korostyshiv in Zhytomyr region. He was last seen by his group of friends, with whom he was resting at the granite quarry. At that place, he left the passport, phone, things and slippers. His friends claim that he just got up and left, leaving all his things", – the post reads.

The press service of the Zhytomyr regional police on July 10 commented to the Zhytomyr.info that dog handlers and divers were employed in the search for the man.

"In the evening of July 1, a Kyiv citizen reported to the Korostyshiv police station that his friend, also a resident of the city of Kyiv, while resting in the territory of the Korostyshiv quarry, had gone missing and his whereabouts were unknown. At the scene, it was found out that his belongings were still on the shore. It was also found out that the young man didn’t know how to swim. The search with a sniffer dog did not give a positive result. The next day, divers were working there, but given the fact that the quarry is very deep, they could not examine everywhere. Currently, the man is being searched for. Description: about 170 cm tall, thin body, dark, short hair, beard. He was wearing only swimming trunks, since his clothes were left," – the police reported.
