A 19-year-old Transcarpathian drug dealer, who incited minors to use marijuana, has been arrested

According to the results of the examination, the substance found by the police is marijuana. The suspect is in custody. 
According to the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian region, at the request of the prosecutor of Vynogradiv department of the Beregovo local prosecutor’s office, the investigating judge detained for 60 days a 19-year-old suspect in marijuana trafficking, public drug use, as well as incitement of three person, including two minors, to use drugs (Part 2 of Article 307, Part 2 of Article 315, Part 2 of Article 316 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). 
In addition, the investigating judge imposed an alternative pre-trial restraint in the form of more than UAH 168,000 bail. According to the investigation, the suspect, at about 10.30 pm, on May 27, 2020, suggested and persuaded three acquaintances, two of whom were teenagers, to use marijuana. The young men decided to smoke the drug on the territory of the local school. That’s when they were detained by law enforcement officers.

At present, the investigation is being carried out by investigators of the Vynogradiv police department. The suspect is being held in custody. 
Prosecutors of the Vynogradiv department of the Beregovo local prosecutor’s office are providing procedural control over the course of the investigation.
