Today, October 6, in Uzhgorod Sport Complex "Yunist" the IX International judo tournament "Cup of Transcarpathia" started.
According to the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration, more than 300 athletes from 9 countries – Ukraine, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Russia and others – will participate. Transcarpathia holds this competition for the ninth time.Its high level is proved not only by the skills of participants but also by the fact that the Cup of Transcarpathia has been included in the official tournament register of the European Judo Association. Thus, during the competition the participants gain rating points.
Uzhgorod tournament will last 2 days. And the final, third day will be devoted to sharing experiences and sparring training.
