On Friday, December 20, near the main Christmas tree of the region, on Narodna Square, the Deputy Governor Ivan Kachur greeted children that had come to Uzhgorod from all over the region. The celebration was also attended by the Director of Education, Youth and Sports Department Marianna Klyap, heads of departments of the regional state administration.
450 children from all districts of Transcarpathia came to the holiday of the regional Christmas Tree. Those were orphans, children deprived of parental care and children from poor families.
Today, on the occasion of the holiday, there was a festives dinner and the show of "Mowgli" in Transcarpathian Regional Academic Puppet Theater "Bavka." In addition, all children received sweets – the press-center of the RSA reported.
