420,000 UAH worth of vodka without excise stamps and with signs of forgery was confiscated in Vynogradiv

Under on the decision of Uzhgorod city and district court, officers of the operational and investigation department of the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region conducted a search in the city of Vynogradiv.  This search was carried out in the course of activities to counter illicit trafficking of excisable goods and the investigation of the criminal proceeding registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations under Part. 1 of Art. 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As a result of the search, they found illegally produced alcoholic beverages, which a citizen was keeping with an intent to sell.

The list of the found goods: vodka "Pshenychna Kralya" in amount of 5200 bottles; vodka "Pshenychna" in amount of 2060 bottles; vodka "Stolychna" in amount of 340 bottles; vodka "Plyashka" in amount of 2940 bottles. All bottles are of 0.5 liters capacity, the "Pshenychna Kralya" bottles had no excise stamps at all, the rest had them but with signs of forgery.

The estimated cost of the seized products is 420,000 UAH.

Currently, the priority investigative measures are being taken, the issue of registering this offense in the URPI under Part 1 of Art. 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and Part 1 of Art. 199 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being considered.
