In the morning, on May 30, in Transcarpathia, as a result of exchange of information between Ukrainian and Hungarian border guards on possible illegal activity at the border, they prevented illegal transportation of 10 thousand packs of cigarettes across the border.
Having received the information about the detention by the border police of Hungary of four people, possibly involved in illegal activities, border guards of the department "Vylok" of the Mukachevo detachment immediately organized search activities. As a result, the border guards soon found near the border 20 boxes, which contained 10 thousand packs of cigarettes without excise stamps.
Border guards took the contraband tobacco products to the border guard service department "Vylok." Currently, the measures to identify a circle of persons involved in the illegal activities are being taken.
