35 villages in three districts of Transcarpathia are without electricity supply because of fallen trees

By the end of the day, electricity supply should be restored in all settlements
Heavy snowfall with slush build up on Wednesday (2.01) caused the fall of trees on highways and power lines. As a result of the transmission lines tear, there is no electricity supply in some settlements in three districts of the region – Vynogradiv, Irshava and Khust.

As of 11.00, 35 villages remain without power supply (21 in part). Repair crews of the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" have been working at the accident sites since morning, by the end of the day all settlements should have electricity supply.
At the same time, units of the State Emergencies Service are clearing the roadways on the highways of the region from the fallen trees. As of 12.00, there are no blocked roads.
