The opening of this workshop is a joint project of the Association of economist students of Transcarpathia, Chaslivtsi village council and Kosice Agency for the Support of Regional Development (Slovakia).

“From Fleece to Art” – the collection of Hutsul wool blankets will be presented in Uzhgorod

From the cradle to the grave, a Hutsul carries a wool blanket – a traditional weaving product that has practical application, important ritual-guarding significane ​​and artistic value. The collection of the National Museum of Folk Art of the Hutsul Land and Pokuttya today has more than 200 wool blankets the oldest of which date from the late nineteenth century and originate in Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

They reported that the mayor had ordered to restore lighting on Korzo street. During renovations, the owners of the facades damaged the wiring and in some places lighting, unfortunately, will not be working soon. Prosecutors in court returned to the state ownership 17 hectares of state border strip

The Court of Appeal of Transcarpathian region upheld the legal position and justification of claims of the prosecutors of Transcarpathian region, leaving unchanged the decision of Beregovo district court, which upheld nine claims in the interest of the state represented by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Administration and the Mukachevo border guard detachment to cancel orders of the Main Department of the State Land Agency in the region, whereby citizens acquired ownership of the land being a part of the state border.
