On August 5, the festival of blueberry “Verkhovynska Yafyna” will be held in the village of Huklyve in Transcarpathia.

The channel for supply of Ukrainian girls to brothels of Europe was eliminated on the Ukrainian-Polish border in Lviv region.
On July 31, at the checkpoint “Shehyni” in Lviv region, officers of the Anti-Trafficking Department of the Transcarpathian police detained members of a criminal group that recruited and supplied Ukrainian “human goods” to European brothels.
At the customs office, they detained a minibus “Renault Traffic”, in which a resident of Transcarpathian region tried to carry abroad for sexual exploitation three Transcarpathian girls aged 18-22 years, a 23-year-old female resident of Zaporizhzhya, and a 24-year-old gay man from Lviv region.
In the course of the successful special operation, they detained the carrier from Transcarpathian region and the organizer of the criminal group, a resident of Lviv region. The men are 42 and 47 years old.
Criminal proceedings over this fact has been initiated, the investigation is ongoing, the site of the regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informs.

At the beginning of the cemetery from Kapushanska street, Greek Catholic congregation built a wooden church. The area around the building is locked for the night.

The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment made a rating of high schools according to the results of idependent testing in Ukrainian language and literature, which was held in 2015.
The rating includes 723 Ukrainian high schools operating in the general secondary education system. The rating is based on the general rating of schools of Ukraine according to the results of the independent testing in Ukrainian language and literature taken by graduates.
The capital of Ukraine have the largest number of representatives in the top 200 high schools – 49, while Lviv region has 22, and Ivano-Frankivsk region has 11. Kyiv and Rivne regions have 10 representatives each.
Ukrainian gymnasium № 1 (Ivano-Frankivsk) takes the first place in the rating, Ukrainian Humanitarian Lyceum of the KNU (Kyiv) and the Lyceum “Intellect” (Kyiv) take the second and the third places.
Transcarpathian region is also in the top 200. Velyky Berezny gymnaseum on the 49th place ranks the highest. Uzhgorod Classical Gymnasium is on the 129th place, immediately followed by Mukachevo Lyceum (130). Also, Svalyava gymnasium takes the 146th place in the ranking, Khust boarding high school is on the 158th place, the Linguistic gymnasium named after Shevchenko in Uzhgorod is on the 189th place.

The main library of the region joined the nationwide campaign for the collection and recycling of plastic bottles and caps for prosthesis for the ATO participants initiated by the Charity Foundation “Oves.” Plastic bottles and caps made of different kinds of plastic are crushed into pellets and used as raw materials or sold, and the funds are allocated for the prosthesis for a particular soldier.
This campaign simultaneously solves two problems – environmental and social. Look for plastic collection points – containers near the entrance to the library and in the lobby on the first floor.
