The the regional authorities promise to honor everyone
The regional authorities in May will grant state awards to all killed Transcarpathian participants of the ATO and to those soldiers who are, fortunately, still live and distinguished themselves on the front. This was discussed by the head of the region Vasyl Hubal in Kyiv at the meeting with the President of Ukraine on Thursday, April 30, therefore the regional authorities are preparing the documents.

Yesterday, April 30, for the first time in Uzhgorod, the honorary Order of Maria Theresia was awarded on the initiative of the founders of the first private park in Ukraine. From Maria Theresia park, a beautiful sightseeing view on the main decoration of the city – the Cathedral – opens. It was there where the official award ceremony took place.
The Minister agreed to lobby for the interests of Transcarpathia
The Minister of Education Serhiy Kvit on Friday, May 1, in the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration met with the head of the region Vasyl Hubal, the press service of the RSA informed. Together with the rector of UzhNU Volodymyr Smolanka and the Head of Education and Science Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Mykhailo Motylchak, they discussed the most current topics of the country and the region, not limited to issues of educational institutions.
Wonderrace is postponed!
The organizers of the wonder-competition for children and their parents reported that due to adverse weather conditions, the bicylce Wonderrace for children will be held in Uzhgorod (Bozdosh park) on May 11.
The schedule and other details of the Wonderrace remain the same:
the beginning of registration of children aged 2 to 7 (inclusive!): 13-00
the beginning of races for children aged 2 to 7 (inclusive!): 14-00
the beginning of registration for children aged 8 to 15 (inclusive!): 14-30
the beginning of races for children aged 8 to 15 (inclusive!): 15-30
The races will take place in sequence from the youngest to the oldest participants. Please be sure to come for the registration on the day of the race!
What you need to bring:
Parental consent (you can fill it at the site or print out from j.mp/zgoda2015 and bring with you);
helmet;
the registration fee for those who have pre-registered is 50 UAH. (for each additional child from the same family, the fee is 40 UAH); for those who register on the day of the race – 60 UAH and 50 UAH respectively.
