During the weekend, the weather in Transcarpathian region will be partly cloudy. On Saturday and Sunday, in Uzhgorod, Mizhhirya, Svalyava, Mukachevo, Beregovo, Vynogradiv there may be sleet. On Sunday, in Rakhiv, Khust precipitation is not expected. The temperature at night will be -8 … -1 degrees, during the day – from -1 to +10. Variable, mostly northern, eastern and western wind of 1-4 m / s. The next week will start with partly cloudy weather, in some places, there may be drizzle and snow.
“The World of God like Easter” – a holiday exhibition with charitable purposes (PHOTOS)
On April 2, in the “Uzhgorod” gallery, there was the opening of the exhibition “The World of God like Easter” with the participation of artists of the regional branch of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Almost fifty artists shared their vision of the theme of Easter and coming of spring, providing for the exhibition 60 works in different genres and different styles.
In addition to presenting the creative diversity of the region’s artistic community, the purpose of the exhibition is to give the audience an opportunity to feel the pre-Easter mood and to do a good deed by taking part in the sale of paintings.
The authors can use the proceeds at their own discretion: to give to charity, to invest in their own art or to support colleagues.
According to the chairman of the regional branch of the National Union of Artists Boris Kuzma, almost a third of the regional union members are old people, who, for health reasons or because of objective realities in the country, are in need of financial support.
As for the exhibits, the price range set by the authors themselves is quite wide: from 250 to 25,000 UAH. But, mostly the price of paintings on sale is between 2000-3000 UAH, almost half of the usual price.
The exhibition will run until April 20.
