Uzhgorod doctors are sounding the alarm: the city wants to close the Pediatric Surgery department, which serves about 52,700 children from birth to 18 years. It is learned that they plan to liquidate the department by reducing the number of children’s surgical beds under the order of Uzhgorod city health department number 87 dd. 20.09.2013, instead of, logically, to include this branch into the structure of the city children’s hospital – the Zaholovok.com.ua reported.

Ledyda gave Pogorelov half a million for Pravoslavna embankment
The Head of the Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda amended his order dd. August 1 “On generalized list of facilities and customers of construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of streets and roads in the municipal ownership of settlements at the expense of subventions from the state budget,” allocating nearly half a million for the repair of Pravoslavna embankment in Uzhgorod.
