A Nigerian citizen was found in Uzhgorod in March this year. It turned out that the foreigner had come to Ukraine to study. However, in January he was expelled from the university and his temporary residence permit was revoked. In addition, in March a decision was made to deport the foreigner to his country of origin. However, the man did not comply with this decision.
As a result, the regional migration service initiated a lawsuit to detain the illegal migrant and place him in a temporary holding facility.
On December 3, the foreigner was placed in the temporary holding facility in Zhuravychi to be expelled from the country in pursuance of the court decision.
