A tourist found dangerous items on the outskirts of the village of Lazeshchyna in Rakhiv district.
The SES of Transcarpathia reported that on September 8, on a tourist route in the Serednya mountain meadow, a tourist had noticed 5 items that looked like ammunition and reported the finding to the Rescue Service.
During September 9 and 10, bomb disposal technicians conducted an additional survey of the surrounding area and found 57 explosive items from the Second World War.
In particular, they found 55 76-mm artillery shells and 2 hand grenades.
After the urgent work, the ammunition was taken out to a designated safe place by a special vehicle and destroyed.
