In Mukachevo, a pensioner killed his daughter’s partner

According to the Communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police, yesterday, March 29, at about 5.50 pm, the police received from a resident of Mukachevo the report that her father had pushed her partner who had fallen to the ground and was not showing any signs of life.
"Officers of the Mukachevo police department immediately arrived at the scene. As the police found out, there was a conflict between the men, the applicant’s 70-year-old father and her partner," – the report reads.
During the altercation, the pensioner hit the man on the head with a wooden board, then pushed him. As a result of the injuries, the 61-year-old victim died on the spot.
"The pensioner is charged with a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, ie premeditated murder. Under the criminal proceedings, the man was detained and placed in a temporary detention center. The murderer faces 7 to 15 years in prison", – the police informed.
