New approach to repair: Local Road Service has been established in the region

The state enterprise "Local Road Service in Transcarpathian region" has been established in the region. The company will be engaged in the construction and maintenance of the existing network of local public roads. 
Currently, 2,424.7 km of roads fall under the responsibility of the regional state administration, including 55 regional roads with a length of 1008.8 km and 295 district roads with a length of almost 1416 km.
Such services are already in place in 13 regions of the country. Starting from the new year, a unified approach to road repair and maintenance will finally be implemented in the region.
The newly established Service will be responsible for roads of local importance, and the maintenance and repair of more than 926 kilometers of the roads of national importance will continue to be carried out by the Road Service Office in Transcarpathian region, which has been operating in the region for more than 20 years.
