Transcarpathian artists won gold medal! (PHOTOS)

This landmark event took place in November, but went almost unnoticed in the press. So now we are rectifying the mistake and informing. The All-Ukrainian art and science event "Art of young people – 2019" took place at the Kharkiv Academy of Design and Arts.

This was the review and contest of graduation projects of graduates of higher educational establishments of Ukraine for 2017-2019. 5 academies (National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Lviv National Academy of Arts, Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, M. Boychuk Kyiv State Academy Arts and Design, and Transcarpathian Academy of Arts) and one institute (Kosiv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts) presented 150 works. Transcarpathian Academy of Arts presented almost 20 graduation projects of students – bachelors and masters.

This year, following the competition, the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine presented one gold medal, two silver medals, 16 Honorary diplomas in 11 nominations. And the gold medal of the competition went to the Department of Fine Arts of our Transcarpathian Academy of Arts. 

Another student of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts, Irina Kopolovets, received the Honorary Diploma of NAAU. Specifically, in the nomination "Decorative and applied arts" (ceramics).

Within the framework of the project, which has been going on for 21 years, there also was the International scientific and practical conference on "The artist’s figure in the vector of contemporary artistic transformations: the Ukrainian dimension", an exhibition of works by teachers of the departments of painting, drawing and graphics. They also published a catalog of works that were presented at the competition.
