The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has made a decision to dismiss the heads of Lviv and Transcarpathian regional state administrations – Markiyan Malsky and Igor Bondarenko, – the 24 Channel informed.

The president made this statement at the meeting of the Community and Territorial Development Council. The event was held under his chairmanship.

As Zelensky noted, he, as promised, assessed the performance of every head of the regional state administrations at the end of the year. Some of them have been working only 3 – 4 months. According to the president, first and foremost, they looked at the results.

He also thanked the head of the Lviv regional state administration Markiyan Malsky and the head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration Igor Bondarenko for their work. Zelensky then said that he had decided to dismiss them.

"I made the decision to dismiss them not because of lack of experience or integrity. But because we haven’t see any results in these regions,” – the President explained.
