The Ministry of Regional Development accepted the position on 60 united communities in Transcarpathia

Today, December 16, a working meeting chaired by the Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Vyacheslav Nehoda took place in the Ministry of Regional Development to discuss the Prospective Plan of Transcarpathian region. The delegation from Transcarpathia was headed by the first deputy head of the Regional State Administration Oleksiy Hetmanenko, the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration reported.

After the presentation of the Prospective Plan, Oleksiy Hetmanenko, Mykola Pigulak and other representatives of the Transcarpathian delegation made their proposals, considering that the united territorial communities were formed according to the methods suggested by the Ministry of Regional Development. After a lengthy and difficult discussion regarding the 8 communities, finally, thanks to the consolidated position and unanimous support of the People’s Deputies of Ukraine Igor Krivosheev and Anatoliy Kostyukh, the delegation of the region sustained their position on formation of 60 united communities in Transcarpathia. The final decision on this issue will be made at the government meeting.
