A 17-year-old Transcarpathian got 75% of his body burnt in a fire

There were four fires over the weekend in the region. In all cases, private houses were burning. 
Thus, on December 14, at 04:20, the Transcarpathian Rescue Service was reported that a house was burning in the village of Kalyny of Tyachiv district, on Travneva street.
When the fire started to burn, only the owner’s 17-year-old son was in the apartment. Trying to get out of the fire trap, he suffered 2-3 degrees burns (75-80% of the body). Now, the doctors are fighting for his life.
Firefighters of the 8th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Tyachiv and the State Fire and Rescue Post of the village of Dubove, as well as firefighters of the local fire brigade of the village of Neresnytsia were eliminating the fire. In total, 9 firefighters and three pieces of equipment were employed.
At 06:10, the fire was contained, and 40 minutes later it was completely eliminated.
Although the fire destroyed 80 square meters of the roof of the building and an outbuilding of 16 square meters, as well as household items, but the firefighters managed to save from destruction the nearby residential building.
And at 10:56, on December 14, Vynogradiv firefighters received a report of a fire in an apartment building on Dobrovoltsi street in the village of Chepa.
The crew of the 6th State Fire and Rescue Unit from Vynogradiv and the local firefighting team from Pyiterfolvo were immediately dispatched at the scene.
The fire occurred in one of the rooms of the apartment building and upon the arrival of the rescuers had spread to the adjacent rooms, because the owners for a long time had been trying to extinguish the fire on their own.
At 11:38, the fire was contained and at 12:22 it was completely eliminated. The fire destroyed 40 sq. m. of the floor and household items. There were no casualities.
In the third case, on December 15, a residential building in Mukachevo city on Pushkin street caught fire. The local 17th State Fire and Rescue Unit eliminated the fire. The fire destroyed 8 sq. m. of the floor and damaged some of the property.
In all cases, the causes of fire and damages are being established by the competent services.
