3 cases of measles were reported last week in the region

3,658 cases of acute respiratory infections have been reported in the region.
The number of referrals to health care facilities for acute respiratory infections last week increased by 4 percent.
According to the regional epidemiologist Victoria Tymchyk, 3,658 people have appealed to medical institutions, the incidence rate is 291 per 100,000 inhabitants and is 32% below the epidemic level.
In Uzhgorod and Mukachevo, the incidence rate is 571 and 517 per 100,000 inhabitants, respectively, in Vynogradiv district – 443 per 100,000 inhabitants. The incidence in Mukachevo and Irshava districts has approached the threshold levels. 68% of the patients are children under 17 (2,495 cases) and 32% are adults (1,163 cases). 88 patients (2%) were hospitalized for inpatient care, the majority of them were children under 4 years of age (55% of all hospitalized persons). 1,148 people have been vaccinated against influenza.
During a week, 3 cases of measles were registered in the region (2 – in Khust district, 1 – in Vynogradiv district). Since the beginning of 2019, 2,378 cases of measles have been registered in the region, or 189.2 per 100 thousand inhabitants. 1,521 patients are children under 17 (64%) and 857 are adults (36%).
