Job Fair took place today at Uzhgorod National University

The traditional Job Fair was held today in the lobby of the main building of Uzhgorod National University. At the grand opening, the Vice-Rector for scientific and pedagogical work of UzhNU Igor Korol noted that the participants of the Job Fair were good friends of the University, since most of them had participated in it multiple times.  
However, this time around there were three times more employers and offers than last year which indicates that the format is successful, effective. “Effective first of all for students, because they want not only to gain knowledge but also to acquire practical skills, to be ready to work. Better yet, to work while studying. Such synergy of lectures, practical classes at university and work gives the maximum effect. I invite students to be active, to find out what our best employers can offer,” – the Vice-Rector said. The deputy mayor of Uzhgorod Oleksandr Bilak thanked the managers of the university, as well as the employers for their efforts. He added that last week a roundtable had taken place in Uzhgorod, during which they discussed the need for early career guidance. Director of Uzhgorod City Employment Center Serhiy Oleksiyuk also said in his speech that the university is constantly trying to attract employers so that graduates have a decent job. Students were actively communicating with the participants of the Job Fair, asked questions about working conditions, possible preferences, social packages, career growth and more.
