The Commission on Road Safety and Coordination of Road Transport met in Uzhgorod

The commission members, in particular, recommended that measures be taken to dismantle outdoor advertising objects (city-lights) on the left-hand sides of bus stops, and approved the road marking on the pedestrian crossings on Stantsiyna street (red and white colors) and the arrangement of road signs on the streets leading to Kyivska embankment. 
The commission did not approve the installation of parking restraints at Luchkay st., 5/1 and traffic restraints in the courtyard of the house No. 55 on Svoboda Ave., also they denied the request on access to the central pedestrian part of the city until 11.00 (the set time is from 05.00 to 08.00 and from 09.00 to 10.00). 
On behalf of the commission, the Municipal Economy Department has to dismantle the “No parking” and “Bus stop” road signs on Sandor Petofi Sq., 18, and install traffic restraints (bollards) on the sidewalk at Alexander Borodin st., 22. 
In addition, the commission recommended that the patrol police take measures to ensure compliance with traffic rules by drivers, especially in winter. Uzhgorod City Council. Official page
