The opening of the second stage of the motorcycle cross personal and command championship of Transcarpathian region and the Cup of Uzhgorod for the prize of the honored coach of Ukraine Stepan Gazuda.
The competition is attended by 47 athletes – from different parts of Transcarpathia and from many cities in Ukraine.
The track is located on the outskirts of Uzhgorod in the area of Zahorska Street, specially prepared and equipped, with artificial obstacles, jumps, interesting for both athletes and spectators. Its total length is 1550 meters. The organizers also planned a spectacular race for the winners of all classes except the children.
The Mayor of Uzhgorod Bohdan Andriyiv greeted the participants of the competition. The Mayor also congratulated them on the Motorist Day, which is celebrated today, wished the athletes to show all their skills and successfully finish without injuries.
The Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Branch of the Motorsports Federation of Ukraine Viktor Stehura thanked the organizers who did everything to make these competitions possible, for the preparation of the great track, and wished the athletes good race and successful finish.
Transcarpathian athletes – the winners of the same competitions in 2018 – had the honor to raise the Flag of Ukraine during the Anthem of Ukraine.
