At the customs post Nevetlenfolu, officers of the Transcarpathian Customs prevented import of two ship loader operator panels with false documents.
Entering Ukraine, the driver – a citizen of Ukraine – submitted documents stating that the cost of the panels was 16 thousand US dollars, the seller was an Italian company, and the buyer was a Ukrainian company from the city of Chornomorsk.
During the customs control, customs officers had doubts about the value of the imported goods. During a customs inspection of the vehicle transporting the goods, in particular in the driver’s cab, customs officers found a second set of documents, according to which the cost of the panels was 37,800 euros.
Thus, the official of an Italian company submitted to the customs officers documents containing false information, namely the cost of the ship loader operator panels. These actions contain signs of violation of customs regulations referred to in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
Currently, the panels were seized by the customs pending court decision.
