At the checkpoint “Uzhgorod”, another attempt of illegal import of Apple gadgets was prevented

Last night, border guards of the Chop detachment, together with customs officers, prevented another attempt to illegally carry Apple devices across the state border. They were found in a vehicle heading for entry into Ukraine through the checkpoint "Uzhgorod" and driven by a 38-year-old citizen of Ukraine. 

While inspecting a minibus Mercedes with Czech registration, law enforcement officers found in the trailer 82 Apple gadgets. 55 tablets and 27 laptops were hidden from control in the minibus freezer.

The found items were seized by officers of the fiscal service. The value of the goods will be determined by an appropriate expert.

Recall that on September 3, joint border and customs group detained at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod" 229 Apple gadgets, which were being moved to the territory of Ukraine illegally.
