A request for recusal of judge Oksana Remetski was filed at the Commercial Court of Transcarpathian region

Yesterday, on August 6, in the Commercial Court of Transcarpathian region, after hearing the arguments of the parties on the merits of the claim, a request for recusal of the judge Oksana Remetski was filed. It should be noted that the court presided over by Judge Remetski was to consider another hearing in which the raiders, who seized the state-owned enterprise "Zakarpatpolimetaly" and brought it to bankruptcy, are trying to seize the land of the new investor. Therefore, the case should now be referred to a new judge through automatic distribution.

In the court, the raiders are trying to take possession of the land where the new enterprise was located. At the courts hearings, they present fake documents. Moreover, all the trials are heard by the same judge, Oksana Remetski, and the request for her recusal was filed in the Commercial Court of Transcarpathian region.

"Judge Remetski cannot consider the case further because she has considered the request for the seizure of the property being the subject of the claim, and therefore she has already made an opinion on the case and cannot take an objective decision in the case, – the lawyer of the Carpathian Ore Company Mykola Kostyuk said. – The judge and the arbitrator in the case have repeatedly resorted to flagrant violations of procedural law and bankruptcy law, which are also subject to review by the High Council of Justice."
