An exhibition of Ivan Bondarenko’s works will be held in Uzhgorod

An exhibition of Ivan Bondarenko will open in the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life!
The opening of the exhibition of Ivan Bondarenko, a member of the Association of Professional Artists of Transcarpathia, will take place on August 7 at 16.00, in the exhibition hall of the museum.
The artist was born on July 3, 1939 in the village of Slobodyshche in Ilinets district of Vynnytsia region. After graduating from school, he worked in a collective farm as a handyman. In 1960, he started working as the head of a village club, the leader of amateur art. In 1953, he entered Vinnytsia Institute, at the Faculty of Mathematics. From 1964 to 1969, he was studying at the Lviv Polytechnic Institute at the Faculty of Architecture. After graduating from the institute, he worked as an architect, chief architect of projects, head of the workshop. From 1989 to 2012, he worked as the director of the "Zakarpatdipromisto" Design Institute. He is the author of various architectural projects in Uzhgorod, Mukachevo and other settlements of Transcarpathia. He has been awarded with diplomas and medals. For his services to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, he received the diploma and the Order of the Icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He is a member of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine, member of the Transcarpathian Association of Professional Artists. For many years, he was a member of art and town planning councils. He has participated in many exhibitions.
