Suspects in apartment and car burglaries were detained in Uzhgorod

Three arrests of persons, who allegedly committed apartment and car burglaries, took place in Uzhgorod. In addition, one person was caught red-handed. The arrests were made by police officers, together with officers of the 3rd battalion of the 2nd Galician brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.

While carrying out the "Migrant" operation, law enforcement officers stopped two men to check documents. Both were nervous and bumbling their answers. It was decided to frisk the citizens. As a result, the police found a bunch of keys, lockpicks, a flashlight, wire-cutters. The detainees were previously convicted for apartment burglaries and at that moment were going to commit another theft. One of them admitted it.

Another suspected thief was detained while he was riding a stolen bike. The man was stopped and frisked. Police officers found lockpicks, various keys, flashlights. It turned out that besides the fact that the man was holding a stolen bike, he had been previously convicted for car burglary.

A man, who tried to steal goods from a store, was detained by officers of the National Guards and policemen at the bus station. When the law enforcement officers arrived, the man was trying to climb over the counter and threatening the guard with a knife. As the detainee reported later, he just wanted to take things he needed.
