At the medieval festival in Saint-Miklos, the castle will be “taken by storm” (ANNOUNCEMENT)

The festival of medieval culture "Silver Tatosh" will be held from May 24 to 26, the organizers say. It will bring together dozens of knights from different cities of Ukraine and abroad, as well as archers and people who are fond of the Middle Ages.

This year, visitors will see usual knight and arching battles, horse races, medieval disco, various master classes and more. For lovers of history and literature, the so-called poetry section – "LiTatosh" – will be taking place on the territory of the castle during the festival days.

This year’s novelty of the festival will be a reenactment of the assault on the castle, which the visitors themselves can participate in. Children, who will come to the festival, will also have fun: a whole town with a variety of games, quests, master classes, etc has been prepared for them. Children will be able to try themselves in battles with soft swords.

At the event, participants and visitors will be treated with medieval dishes – without potatoes and tomatoes, because people in the Middle Ages did not have those vegetables. This festival will be interesting to all, who love history and dreamed of becoming a real knight or a charming medieval lady.
