Czech railway company plans to launch a train to Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

RegioJet, a private Czech railway company, has already turned to the Ukrzaliznytsia with its proposals. This was reported by the CFTS citing Oleksandr Krasnoshtan, the head of the passenger transportation department of the Ukrzaliznytsya.

The Ukrzaliznytsia is ready to let private carriers to its infrastructure, O. Krasnoshtan answered affirmatively. There have been appeals from foreign private railway companies, in particular from RegioJet.

There has already been a meeting with one of the carriers – RegioJet and they have a great interest in launching trains to Mukachevo, – Krasnoshtan said.

Oleksandr Krasnoshtan reminded about the forthcoming service Mukachevo-Kosice. On April 2, a test train arrived to the city to record all the nuances of the route.
