Information for Transcarpathians: control at the Hungarian railway will be toughened

According to the press center of the State Hungarian Railway Company MÁV, in order to ensure the safety of their employees, passengers, and their property while traveling in local trains, the control over passengers during the trips will be toughened.

In particular, an attack on a railway company employee performing his or her official duties is punishable by imprisonment for up to 5 years.

The number of webcams in cars has also been increased. Practical testing of the video devices has already been carried out with the participation of twenty five examiners. At present, cameras are being used only in test mode. Subsequently, they will be used permanently.

The railway company is also buying new, more advanced webcams that are expected to start working in the autumn. First on the local lines in Budapest, and soon afetr that all over the country
