On Tuesday, April 2, dry grass was burning on the territory of the former pastures, and now private land plots of residents of the village of Huta.
The fire arose near the state forest fund of the Kamyanytsia forestry of Uzhgorod State Forestry Enterprise (quarter 13).
The fire occurred as a result of burning of dry vegetation by citizens of the village of Huta. Thanks to the state forest protection workers, the fire was extinguished 50 meters to the forest and 80-year-old beech plantings were saved.
20 state forset protection workers were engaged in firefighting. As of 18.45, the fire was eliminated.
