Due to an unscrupulous enforcement officer, a Transcarpathian state-owned enterprise was acquired by a private company

With the consent of the Prosecutor’s Office of Transcarpathian region, investigators of the Transcarpathian regional police indicted a former chief enforcement officer of one of the departments of the State Enforcement Service of the Main Office of Justice in Transcarpathian region, whose unlawful actions led to privatization of the property complex of the state-owned enterprise "Batyovo Bakery". This was reported by the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.

As it was established during the pre-trial investigation, the suspect knew that the property of this category could have been sold only with the consent of the relevant ministry and avoided this procedure, indicating inaccurate information about the owner of the property. Abusing his official position and indicating false information in the documents, the state enforcement officer allowed the property of the complex to be sold. 

Subsequently, the integral property complex of the state-owned enterprise "Batyovo Bakery", which cost more than UAH 1.7 million, was sold through the online bidding system to a private company.
